All makes and models of barcode scanner should be compatible.

Receipt Printer

Any serial printer that supports direct serial (RS232) connection or any printer that connects via USB, parallel or Ethernet and is supported by a compatible OPOS driver. Current Epson, Star and Samsung OPOS drivers have been tested and are compatible with EPOS-Excel.

Touch Screen Monitors

This is optional however a touch screen monitor will greatly enhance your experience of the system. Since V1.4.0.0, EPOS-Excel requires a screen resolution of 1024x768 or greater.

Electronic Cash Drawers

Any electronic cash drawer that connects via the receipt printer's cash drawer interface should be compatible with EPOS-Excel. Please consult your printer manual for further details.

Also, as of version 1.1.1.0 any standalone cash drawer should be supported using a compatible OPOS driver.

Customer VFD / LCD Display

All serial (RS232) connected customer displays are supported. Also any customer display that has a compatible OPOS driver is supported. Displays that connect via the receipt printer will need to use the printer's OPOS driver.
